Who is Heal the Children?
Heal the Children is a NPO which is dedicated to educating, empowering, supporting, acknowledging and respecting children by teaching them life skills in a joyful way, including physical, mental, emotional and spiritual development. The organisation intends to create a structured and loving environment where parents and children can feel safe and be guided to rise above the challenges of life. Part of this vision is to create a safe sanctuary for children to live and visit where required, providing education, healing, physical activity, creativity, and joy for children and parents. We aim to take children off the street, one child at a time and to teach these “street” children how to live a more fulfilled and sustainable way of living. Another aspect of the organisation is providing sustainable and continued support for children and parents by taking the life skills programme into schools, homes and orphanages. The organisation will invest time in uplifting children and parents in South Africa, and globally.
We are currently working with 22 underprivileged children at the Mother of Peace Home in North Riding, teaching them life skills and helping awaken their brilliance within. We need your help in order to continue to support and uplift the children.
Would you like to sponsor a child or children?
We offer different options for sponsorship:
1. Sponsor a child / children at R100-00 per month, R250-00 per month or R500-00 per month.
2. Sponsor a child with one lump sum of any amount you desire.
3. Sponsor creative materials.

Embracing change
Part of our human development is change, but as human beings we can be intimidated by even the mere thought of things changing. Even when current circumstances might not be the best, one can revert to “better the devil you know..”
In change, there is always the opportunity for growth and whilst many may object to turmoil which often accompanies change, this is when beliefs and thoughts can be challenged in order to gain a deeper understanding and ultimately clarity. Turmoil therefore indicates that you have the opportunity to grow and change aspects in your life for the better. There is always positive and negative to each and every situation. When you see the whole picture and the higher perspective to situations, you free yourself from only one view and balance it out into neutrality. When one is in a space of feeling neutral, it does not mean that you have no feeling or emotion. It just means that you have more peace and have lost the attachment to the outcome. When we lose attachment to what we desire, then you not only re-connect back with spirit, but create the space for that which you desire or for something better to emerge.
